Biography
Pedro J. Aguilar, MD, joined the faculty of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh in July 2007. Dr. Aguilar is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and has a strong interest in both degenerative spinal pathology as well as functional pain management. He is a member of Tri-State Neurosurgical Associates and is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
A native of north Texas, Dr. Aguilar received his bachelor of science from Texas A&M University in 1996 and his medical degree from The University of Texas-Houston in 2000. Following two years of general surgery training at The University of New Mexico, he completed training in neurosurgery at The University of Pittsburgh in 2007
