Pittsburgh, June 22, 2002 -- The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh is proud to offer congratulations to its 2002 graduating chief residents, Drs. Katrina Firlik, Atul Patel and Kevin Stevenson. The three were honored in a formal ceremony at the Fox Chapel Golf Club on June 22 attended by faculty members, family and friends.

Dr. Firlik is headed to private practice in Greenwich, CT where she will also be on the clinical faculty at Yale University. Dr. Patel will be affiliated with the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, CA. Dr. Stevenson has accepted a fellowship position in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Washington, specifically at the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
