Pittsburgh, December 18, 2002 -- The newsletter for the Department of Neurological Surgery, University of Pittsburgh Neurosurgery News, received honorable mention recognition for 2002 in the 37th Annual Exhibition of Western Pennsylvania printing awards. The awards are sponsored by the Printing Industry of Western Pennsylvania. They cited the newsletter in the "Corporate & Business Communications House Organs" category.

This is the third year in a row the newsletter has won a design award since its inception in 2000.

The PIAWP recognizes "excellence of achievement, effort and talent" for productions ranging from annual reports and capabilities brochures to creative die-cutting or pop-ups.

University of Pittsburgh Neurosurgery News is published quarterly and is intended to present topical discussions of current and ground breaking techniques available at our department. The newsletter is distributed to physicians throughout the local tristate area. It is also available online in .pdf form on our website. All issues are archived here.
