Pittsburgh, April 9, 2003 -- Dennis D. Spencer, MD, Harvey and Kate Cushing Professor of Neurosurgery and chair of neurosurgery at Yale University spoke on "American Board of Neurological Surgeons and Maintenance of Certification," Wednesday, April 9 at the Duquesne Club as part of the department's visiting professor lecture series. Dr. Spencer is a former chairman of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Spencer's lecture was preceeded by a reception and dinner.

Dr. Spencer also presented a lecture on "Energy and Epilepsy" at the resident's conference in the department's main conference room as part of the department's Wednesday afternoon conferences.
