Pittsburgh, June 26, 2004 -- The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh is proud to offer congratulations to its 2004 graduating chief residents, Drs. Elad Levy, Rich Spiro and Elizabeth Tyler-Kabara. The three were honored in a formal ceremony at the Fox Chapel Golf Club on June 26 attended by faculty members, family and friends.

Dr. Levy is headed to the University of Buffalo to pursue endovascular surgery; Dr. Tyler-Kabara has accepted a pediatric fellowship at the University of Alabama-Birmingham; and Dr. Spiro has accepted a spine fellowship here at the University of Pittsburgh.

Also during the evening, Dr. A. Leland Albright was awarded the Faculty Teaching Award as voted by the residents. Dr. Spiro won this year's faculty award for resident teaching.
