Pittsburgh, June 25, 2005 -- The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh is proud to offer congratulations to its 2005 graduating chief residents, Drs. Anthony Harris and John Y.K. Lee. The two were honored in a formal ceremony at the Fox Chapel Golf Club on June 25 attended by faculty members, family and friends.

Dr. Lee is headed to the Cleveland Clinic for a six-month spine fellowship before continuing on to the University of Pennsylvania; Dr. Harris is headed to private practice with MultiCare Neuroscience Center of Tacoma, Washington.

Also during the evening, Peter Gerszten, MD, was awarded the Faculty Teaching Award as voted by the residents. Dr. Lee won this year's faculty award for resident teaching.
