Pittsburgh, November 10, 2009 -- Joseph Maroon, MD, clinical professor and Heindl Scholar in Neurosciences, appeared on the WTOV-TV (Steubenville, OH) Evening News, November 9, discussing the advancements in football helmet protection.

Dr. Maroon is the team neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a noted expert in concussions and head and neck injuries. He has played a key role in helping develop and test safer football helmets.
