Pittsburgh, April 8, 2010 -- Hideho Okada, MD, PhD, associate professor of neurological surgery and a leading cancer researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, was interviewed on the KDKA Evening News, April 7, discussing research studies to develop a cancer vaccine.
Dr. Okada and fellow researchers are hopeful of soon giving doctors the capability of vaccinating patients against cancer in the much the same way they now do in vaccinating against infectious diseases.
