Roberts Professor and chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington, lectured here on concussions and pineal region surgery March 9, as part of the department's on-going visiting professor lecture series.

Dr. Ellenbogen—an expert on concussion care and chair of the National Football League's Head, Neck and Spine Medicine Committee—provided the talk "Concussion in Youth Athletes: from Return to Play to Advocacy” before a standing-room-only audience at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Rangos Auditorium. He then participated in afternoon conferences at UPMC Presbyterian and gave a talk on pineal region surgery later in the evening at an invitation-only reception at the Duquesne Club. |
