Pittsburgh, August 17, 2020 -- Chief resident Nima Alan, MD, has been named recipient of the 2020 North American Spine Society (NASS) Young Investigator Clinical Research Grant Award for his research project "Quantitative Tractography of Spinal Cord White Matter Pathways to Assess Severity of Clinical Presentation in Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy." The amount of the award totals almost $40,000.
