Sarah LaRue Bulloch, PA-C, joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery at UPMC Presbyterian in September 2024. She initially joined UPMC in July 2021, and was directly involved in the UPMC Mercy Stroke Institute, which specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute strokes.
Prior to joining UPMC, Sarah graduated from Chatham University as a part of their guaranteed accelerated five-year Bachelors and Masters Physician Assistant Program. While there she was a pharmacology tutor for first year physician assistant students. She also participated in multiple drug research studies, some of which are published in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. Sarah greatly enjoys teaching students and continuing the education of future physician pssistants. She is currently in the University of Pittsburgh’s Doctor of Physician Assistant Studies, with a planned graduation date of December 2024.
