Prior to joining the UPMC Mercy neurosurgery team, Stephanie Johnson, CRNP, was a Neuro ICU nurse in a level 1 trauma/stroke center. Over her eight years there, she cared for a variety of patients including stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, TBI, intracranial surgeries, and status epilepticus.
In addition to caring for the critically ill, Stephanie has also served as adjunct faculty for many nursing schools in the area including Duquesne University, Carlow University and La Roche University. Stephanie enjoys teaching nursing students in the clinical setting and is very rewarded in helping them achieve their goals.
